Surfers Against Sewage – Creating Ocean Activists

Surfers Against Sewage – Creating Ocean Activists Everywhere
Updated core brand identity
Surfers Against Sewage was founded thirty years ago as a single-issue campaign group to improve water quality, they have grown to lead the fight against any threat to our coastline and waterways. Plastic pollution, climate change, development, restricted access and coastal projects all pose threats to our blue spaces and SAS tackle these issues at a grassroots level, with government officials and with industry leaders, providing a holistic approach to protecting our ocean environment.

We’ve partnered with SAS over the past decade to deliver campaigns, websites, apps, 20 issues of their ‘Pipeline’ journal and we helped launch the Global Wave Conference in 2016. In 2019 we were tasked with auditing and evolving the organisations brand identity, to encourage engagement and bring clarity to all communications as they enter a critical point in the fight for the health of our ocean environment.
